About Us

Our Experience:

For over 100 years the Moisan family has been providing a variety of construction services accross the United States. Aime Moisan immigrated to the United State's from Canada, settled in Chicago in the early 1900s, and started a painting company. Rising to prominence, Aime became the primary painting contractor for the Chicago's world fair in 1933 before retiring. His son Joseph A. Moisan would become Deputy Building Commisioner of Chicago in the 1970's. Among his many accomplishments during his tenure Joseph developed the first college accredited building inspector program in the U.S.A. One of Joseph's seven children, Tom Moisan, moved to Spokane in 1975 and graduated from EWU before becoming the Shadle Park Highschool woodshop teacher. Departing Shadle Park in the 1980s, Tom taught construction techniques at Spokane Community College before leaving to become one of Spokane's first indepedent home inspectors. Currently, Tom's son, Nathan, is the owner of Moisan Custom Carptenty and Construction. Nathan has a wide range of construction experience, he has worked in all aspects of the skilled trades, and looks forward to working with you to turn your construction dreams into reality.
